"AGT's Work in Reducing Diesel Emissions Selected as a Winning Technology for DOE-Sponsored Commercialization Assistance Program"

Atmospheric Glow Technologies has been selected to participate in the Commercialization Assistance Program (CAP) for 2003 for their work with the Environmental Protection Agency in reducing diesel emissions. The CAP is a collaborative endeavor involving The Environmental Protection Agency, The Department of Energy's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and the Office of Building Technology, State & Community Programs. The objective of the CAP is to assist companies accelerate the commercialization of their SBIR technology through licensing, strategic alliances, or equity investments. This assistance takes the form of assisting recipients develop a viable business plan, develop presentation materials for use with potential funding sources, and the invitation to present their business opportunity at the Commercialization Opportunity Forum to be held in Germantown, MD in September. Approximately 50% of previous CAP participants have received $400 million in increased sales or investments.
