HIDEN HPR-60 Molecular Beam Radical and Neutral Particle Mass Spectrometer

Hiden HPR-60

The Hiden HPR-60 Molecular Beam Radical and Neutral Particle Mass Spectrometer manufactured by Hiden Analytical (Warrington, UK) is designed for rapid identification of gas chemistry at atmospheric pressure. Gaseous chemicals such as ions and free radicals are identified by analyzing their energy and mass. It also provides the relative concentration of gaseous chemicals in a sample by calculating the amplitude and area of peaks. This is the most sophisticated, accurate instrument of its kind, and it produces the highest quality data available from such measurements. It is used in a number of industries including aerospace, automotive, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor. This mass spectrometer was purchased by AGT in November 2002. It was installed in AGT facilities March 2003.

This equipment is subject to US Commerce Department and other US Government export control requirements and as such is only available for sale within the United States, to US entities for their end-use within the United States.

HP AGILENT 5972 Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer (GCMS)

HP Agilent 5972 GCMS

The HP Agilent 5972 Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer is made up of two parts. The gas chromatography (GC) portion separates the chemical mixture into pulses of pure chemicals and the mass spectrometer (MS) identifies and quantifies the chemicals.

The GC separates chemicals based on their volatility, or ease with which they evaporate into a gas. In general, small molecules are more volatile than larger molecules. The MS is used to identify chemicals based on their structure. The Agilent GCMS is a common instrument for chemical analyses. It is commonly found in all industrial, pharmaceutical, agricultural, chemical, healthcare, and research laboratories.
