The threat of biological and chemical warfare is a larger concern today than ever before. Beginning with the events of Fall 2001, news stories have reported multiple accounts of anthrax contamination in government facilities and civilian office buildings. Buildings that are uninhabitable due to contamination with harmful microorganisms cost millions of dollars due to the expense of decontamination not to mention the loss of productivity during a lengthy clean-up. Current decontamination methods are time consuming to administer and are not compatible with heat and moisture sensitive items such as office equipment, electronics, fabrics, documents, and photographs. AGT is developing a more practical approach to decontamination using OAUGDP®.
